YMCA of the Rockies – <\/strong>Jessica & Luis<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring can bring all kinds of weather to a wedding in Estes Park. In the photo below, Jessica and Luis got more than they bargained for with a foot of snow on their March wedding day after no snow on the ground the day before. As you can see it makes for
an amazing scene if you’re willing to brave the cold!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sprague Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park – <\/strong>Tricia & Ryan<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re lucky you could see some elk during your wedding photos, or even a moose, like Tricia and Ryan did – at a safe distance, of course! Elk herds create what locals call an Estes Park traffic jam. This photo was taken right next to the dock where their ceremony site was, and not that unusual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lily Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park<\/strong> – Haley & Justin<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haley and Justin had an intimate ceremony overlooking Lily Lake in RMNP. I love making sweeping high-res panoramic photos from scenes like this. Check out my panoramas page<\/a> for one of my signatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SkyView at Fall River Village Resort<\/strong> – Olivia & Matt<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SkyView at Fall River is one of the newest venues in Estes Park, with sweeping views of the Continental Divide to the west. Olivia and Matt had a destination wedding, with most of their guests coming from the east. This wedding photo was taken of the couple on the deck of the second floor of SkyView’s Event Center, that has those Rocky Mountain views you came to Estes for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moraine Park, Rocky Mountain National Park<\/strong> – Brittany & Nick<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park is a perfect spot for couples that are willing to walk a short distance for some outstanding views. Make sure you hire a professional photographer for your RMNP photos, as they need to have proper insurance and get the necessary permit to photograph in the park (if you are getting married in the park this permit is included in your fee).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Boulders at Black Canyon Inn <\/strong>– Camila & Paul<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a perfect wedding venue look no further than the The Boulders and the Homestead at Black Canyon Inn. Camila & Paul had a spring wedding where there wasn’t much snow still and had beautiful weather. The covered ceremony site has panoramic views that are unmatched in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O’Connor Pavilion<\/strong> – Mindy & Zach<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mindy & Zach had a simple ceremony in a pretty aspen grove in a field of grass surrounded by mountains. This venue is a hidden gem that doesn’t require much dressing up. Their reception was at the covered pavilion where it was rustic picnic table seating, but still all the fanfare you would expect with a big celebration like this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historic Crag’s Lodge<\/strong> – Suzanne & Corey<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another beautiful mountain venue for this wedding between Suzanne and Corey. Historic Crag’s Lodge is up on a hill and has more amazing views, with a similar but different angle from that of SkyView. The venue is more rustic but has an amazing ceremony location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
