My favorite part of the recessional after the formal ceremony is finished is when the bride and groom look at each other as the walk down the aisle together as husband and wife for the first time. The different expressions I see are priceless, from pure joy to disbelief and everything in between. To best capture this important moment I use a wide angle lens and stay close the couple as I back up (making sure I don't trip along the way!). This also allows me to capture reactions for the guests, and in the first photo the couple's parents are shown smiling proudly.
After the recessional the couple signed their marriage certificate along with their witnesses and then showed it off to the camera for a fun shot.
