Capturing portraits of those dearest to you is one of my most important jobs at your wedding. Although it can feel like it's 'party time' and the couple wants to move on to the party portion of the day, taking time for family portraits is very important. Even though the photos are posed, I make sure these photos happen efficiently by following an agreed-upon list and quickly positioning people to maximize time for portraits and cocktail hour. I still try to capture real moments in between the posed photos so I keep my camera up for as long as I can to make sure I don't miss any of these.
