In this portrait of a bridal party, it was a cold Spring day in the mountains when it snowed a foot on the wedding day.
Despite the frigid temperatures, the bride was still keen to get outside into the beauty even though in a dress it is downright chilly! As you can see it is definitely a beautiful scene with the fresh snow sitting on the trees. In this scene I used a creative blurring effect to focus on the bridesmaids and groomsmen with the couple having a laugh at the bottom of the photo. After this the groomsmen got into a big snowball fight (boys will be boys after all!).
If you're looking for a photographer specializing in outdoor mountain wedding photography in Steamboat Springs, I have the experience to make capturing your memories a reality. Steamboat is a perfect destination wedding location within Colorado because it is removed enough from major cities for guests to make a vacation out of it. It doesn't get as much attention as some of the other mountain resort towns, but it is truly a remarkable spot. Wedding venues include the Sheraton Steamboat Resort, Perry Mansfield, Catamount Ranch, Botanic Gardens, and on top of the mountain via gondola.
Location: Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
