Sprague Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park is a great place to have your elopement ceremony if you're looking to show off the best of what Colorado has to offer.
With easy access from the entrance to the park, you can park with a few amenities and then walk to your ceremony location a few minutes away. If you walk around to the far side of the lake (about a ten minute walk), you will be rewarded with the best views of the mountains along with Sprague Lake in the background. This is why it's so popular with couples looking for great elopement photos.
This photo is of a couple that drove all the way from Utah to get married in the mountains of Colorado. They didn't even tell anyone other than one family member who took care of their kids while they went away, and then the couple texted them all a photo of them holding an 'eloped in Colorado' sign. Surprise!
I created this photo by taking multiple photos of the scenery and then carefully stitching them together to create a high resolution panorama that will look amazing printed large and hanging above their living room couch. The views are of a Rocky Mountain National Park towards Flattop Mountain.
