I was lucky enough to join with Kate & Shane up in the mountains for their nuptials at the village of Thredbo. It was great weather at a balmy 22 degrees on one of the last fine autumn days there. The setting suited their personalities perfectly and we took advantage of the chairlift being next to the chapel to whisk ourselves up to the peak right after the ceremony to take in the magnificent views. We had about 15 minutes before having to head back down where we took in some scenery in the valley before the start of the reception at the Denman Hotel.

The Federal Golf Course in Red Hill was the scenic venue for Megan & Lachlan’s big day. It was a beautifully modest 21 degrees and we had some great light for photos. The bridal party had some pretty cool classic cars to take them around to our photo locations, which were nearby Dunrossil Drive and the museum. These two are such a great couple, and as you can see by all the smiles, very much in love.

They did the candle ceremony at the reception since it was a little too breezy outside…

We did a variation on the ‘fun photo booth’ idea and it turned out to be a big hit!

There was even a friend that got to see the reception from London via Skype…
