It’s been a busy Spring wedding season for me, so it’s always refreshing to get out to new locations and see some of the beautiful scenery surrounding Canberra. Lisa & Tim celebrated their wedding near Tharwa where they met, and kept with their country roots by having an afternoon reception (before their main reception) at Lanyon Homestead, a perfect place to explore for photos. Tim’s family has owned the land next to it for generations, so it was fitting to get some great shots overlooking it.

Another couple took advantage of the beautiful scenery at the Old Parliament House – House of Reps Gardens with their ceremony on a flower-lined walkway. There were lots of cute moments (including the adorable flowergirls below) and some tears as well. The large bridal party took their hot rods down to Reconciliation Place where we were exposed to cold blustery winds. Despite ominous showers in the distance it stayed sunny and we sheltered ourselves at Lennox Gardens and Nara Park (the park within a park). Nicole showed off her billowing dress and its ability to double as a cloak for warmth!
