I met Paula about 5 years ago, so I was excited to be the photographer for her big day. The event celebrated their passions for the ocean – Isaac with his Scubascrubbers business and Paula with an important role in the new Ocean Discovery Centre. The ceremony took place overlooking the ocean at Saxe Point and the happy couple cruised in their Model T Ford down to Gyro Park to play around, followed by a reception at the Faculty Club. There were so many great moments… and I really enjoyed the hand-made sweets brought all the way by family from Ecuador!

The mythical sea serpent Cadborosaurus, or ‘Caddy’ as we like to call him…

Their day had a bit of everything – all sorts of emotions, great people, food and wine, and even some fame! There was also something old and something new, with the ceremony at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, one of the oldest and grandest churches in Victoria, and the reception at the new and aptly-named Church and State Winery.
