It was a scenic 3 hour drive south from Fort Collins through Colorado Springs and past Pikes Peak to get to beautiful Mueller State Park for Alison and Adam’s early September wedding. It was a small destination wedding, and the guests and couple filled up the park cabins that overlooked majestic Pikes Peak. The couple loves hiking and Alison has fond childhood memories of this park. They even requested that guests wear their finest hiking footwear for the event. The weather turned out perfectly and there were lots of locations to choose from for photos, including aspen groves, rocks, ponds and of course great views of the mountains.
