This post is a bit of a milestone – my 100th in exactly 2 years! That sounds like a lot to me so hopefully you haven’t got tired of seeing my photos yet. I know there’s a lot of online media overload these days, so I appreciate your support even if it’s just the odd glance at my work (but keep the comments coming!).
This lovely wedding was that of Rosemary and Oliver. I first chatted to them on Skype while they were in Hong Kong, where they now live and work for the next few years at least. Though their wedding had a country feel there were some exotic touches, from her dress to the peacock feather boutonnieres and hair pieces to the siamese fighting fish. The ceremony took place at the quaint Wattle Park Church in Hall, and then we headed out to Poachers Pantry for the bridal party photos and the reception. Rosemary and Oliver hammed it up a lot and Rosemary’s big smile was infectious, so there were lots of spontaneous moments to capture.
Super post Mark – looks like all had a great time. Congrats on your milestone!
Mark, Awesome photos. One can actually feel the fun and happiness! K+D
Mark the photos are fantastic! You’ve perfectly captured the fun and frivolity we had taking them and it’s testament to your skills that there are any of us looking serious! Our time with you, stomping through the thistles, was definitely a highlight of our wonderful wedding – thank you, thank you, thank you! rb & Oli
Mark, I love how you capture the mood of the moment, mix the colours, textures, focus, the light. The subjects seem all relaxed and so comfortable in front of your camera! Great photography! Love it! It gives me pleasure to look through the photos!ZC Victoria
