RCMP wedding photographer | Donna & Dan

Downtown Vancouver was the setting for this full day of exciting photos. The skies were brooding but the sun poked through and we escaped any rain. The bridal party were up for anything as we took to the streets after leaving the Holy Rosary Cathedral and headed to the back alleys of historic Gastown, followed by a trip to the C.P.R. Roundhouse – the oldest building in Vancouver (constructed in 1888, it was built as the end of the line for the national railway and a workspace for the steam engines). This was my second RCMP wedding of the summer, and Dan’s red serge provided a colourful contrast to the urban backdrop. We also explored a park near Granville St. Bridge before our limo whisked us to the Vancouver Rowing Club. The reception featured some fun surprises, like Donna’s father playing in a band that hadn’t performed in 54 years and Donna slipping into a black dress for a jivin’ swing number!

Thanks to Dan and Donna for trusting me with choosing their photo locations – it was a blast!
