Gabriola Island Wedding Photographer | Vivian & Dusty

Gabriola Island is an amazingly tranquil island and a perfect setting for a wedding. It was quite a contrast going from the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver to the laid-back quietness of true island life in one day – and only two ferries to get there! Vivian’s parents have a house built from timber on the property and held the wedding reception in their barn. The location suited the couple’s equally relaxed personalities and made for a special day for everyone there. The ceremony took place on volcanic rock over-looking the ocean in Drumbeg Park. It was such a great venue for photos.

Victoria B.C. Wedding Photographer | Jenn & Ed

It was a beautiful day for a wedding as Jenn and Ed celebrated at Glenlyon Norfolk School, which is a unique venue. It’s the former home of famous Victoria B.C. architect Francis Rattenbury who built it in the early 1900’s. We photographed around the school and at nearby Cattle Point. The event was short and sweet at 3 hours, as the couple are flying off to Costa Rica (where they met) early next year for a beach wedding with Ed’s family.

The bridal party was groovin’ to some great latin beats from a local band…

The photo booth and all the props were a fun distraction…
