Sometimes it takes a disaster to make you realize what’s really important in life. In September Colorado suffered one of the worst flooding events in its recorded history that affected many lives and homes along the Front Range. Besides devastating communities and cutting off major roads, it also affected many couples that were planning on getting married in the mountains to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Chris and Cindy were one such couple. They had to make the tough decision to cancel their wedding in Estes Park and organize the whole wedding somewhere else in just one week. Fortunately friends and family were there to help and they found a venue in Wellington in Northern Colorado. Everything worked out in the end, and I was reminded when you get down to it, a wedding is really about sharing a couple’s love with those closest to them. The venue and other details are a bonus (of course, great wedding photography is a must though!). Cindy looked stunning in her blush wedding dress and Chris looked quite dapper in his National Guard ceremonial uniform. So congrats to Cindy and Chris for pulling off a great wedding!
